Who wouldn’t salivate at the opportunity to eat the finest burgers in central Indiana…for only $5 each?
Indy Burger Week is a week-long celebration of the glorious creation known as ‘the hamburger’. NUVO invited local restaurants and chefs to join us in creating one week of pure hamburger heaven. And at $5 a burger, you’ll have plenty of cash left for a fried side and a beer (or three).
Indy Burger Week is also a fundraiser for Second Helpings. Because, while gourmet burgers are great, everyone deserves to eat.
Try somewhere new. Eat something awesome. Tell your friends about it and come back with them later.
Know that many restaurants will not offer their $5 burgers as a to-go purchase. Have a seat. Loosen up your belt. And enjoy!
Expect that restaurants will be busy. If a place runs out, take it like a champ. Go back the next day, go earlier, order your burger, and thank them for working hard to do this for you.
People loved 2016’s Burger Week. Now it’s back and better than ever. So don’t be surprised if restaurants have waits. In fact, be pleasantly surprised if they don’t.
Really though, you’re getting a hell of a deal and the restaurants are hooking it up while helping a good cause… So please tip at least 20%. The people who are serving you are working very hard during Indy Burger Week. And they are awesome.
Pick up some fries and a pint! You’ll enjoy yourself more, and you’ll be helping out the restaurants. Win/win!

20% of all restaurant registrations fees and Sponsorships will be given directly to Second Helpings. Second Helpings, Inc. accepts donated perishable and overstocked food to prepare hot, nutritious meals for thousands of hungry children and adults every day, and distributes them free-of-charge to 80 social service agencies, such as shelters, community centers, low income day care centers and after school programs, in Greater Indianapolis. Second Helpings also trains unemployed and underemployed adults for meaningful careers in the culinary industry, giving them sustainable jobs in the food service industries.
